Objectives of the Course
To convey information to students about how insects (both beneficial and harmful insects) are affected by abiotic and biotic factors and to enable them to comment on these issues.

1Adapting the basic theories and concepts of ecology to the life of insects
2To be able to comprehend the effects of ecological factors on pests.
3To be able to establish the relationship between ecological factors and pests and to interpret them in terms of plant protection.
4To be able to establish a relationship between ecological factors and population levels of pests.
5To be able to evaluate the effect of ecological factors in the application of plant protection methods.
6Knowing how to choose the appropriate fighting method
