Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is; to gain knowledge and skills by explaining the importance of cut flowers, the cultivation techniques of the most traded cut flower species in the world, and the post-harvest processes applied in cut flowers.

Course Contents
Identification, classification and economic importance of cut flowers, introduction and ecological demands, cultivation techniques (applications from sowing/planting to harvest, cultural processes, reproduction, harvesting) of rose, carnation, chrysanthemum, lily and gerbera species and post-harvest physology of cut flowers.
