Elemantary Mathematics Education Program is one of the first programs of Faculty of Education established in 2008. Since 2015-2016 academic year it has continued to provide education as Elemantary Mathematics Education Programme for four years. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
High school diploma and placement through a centralized national university placement examination, Student Selection Exam, ÖSS. Please visit www.osym.gov.tr for more information. There is a quota for international students who are admitted through selection by the university among the applicants.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Admission can be made from the institutions of which equivalency is recognized by Higher Education Council. Recognition of prior non-formal and in-formal learning is at the beginning stage in Turkish Higher Education Institutions. BozokUniversity and thus the department is not an exception to this. However, exams of exemption are organised at the start of each year at the University for the courses of English Language. The students who achieve a passing grade from the exam are held exempt from the related course in the curriculum. |

Profile of The Programme |
In Elementary Mathematics Education Department, it is aimed to train teacher who can think, research, interpret their own research and others’ research findings, identify the problems of the world and our country and find appropriate solutions, not just to enroll content knowledge. Moreover, it is worked out to train teachers who communicate healthily with others, and have the background, pedagogy and subject area cognition required for effective teaching.

Successfully complete all courses equivalent 240 ECTS credists, and to achive minimum 2.0 out of 4.0 GPA.

Facilities |
Bozok University Erdoğan Akdağ Campus building, which has a covered area of 2267 sqm on a physical area of 8300 sqm, was completed in 2011 and received. There are 17 classrooms, 1 conference room with capacity of 165 people, 1 student cafeteria, 2 language labs, 2 computer labs, 1 library and 1 drama hall are available and ready for use in the Faculty of Education. There are a total of 17 classes including 8 classrooms with a capacity of 80 people with a capacity of 80 people and 9 classrooms with a capacity of 110 people and 104 m2 with a capacity of 80 people. In these classrooms; single student orders, projector, curtain and board. |
