In accordance to the decision of Higher Education Executive Board on 07.05.2009, Yozgat Bozok University, School of Engineering & Architecture, Biosystem Engineering Graduate Program accepted its first students in 2011. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Students who will apply to the Biosystems Engineering Department Master's program must meet the minimum requirements specified in the Graduate Education Regulation of the Yozgat Bozok University Graduate Education Institute.
The evaluation and entrance examination of the students who apply to the Master's program are carried out by a three-person jury determined by the Institute. The rules in the postgraduate education and examination regulations are applied in the entrance exam. In the admission of non-Turkish students to the program, they are required to meet the minimum conditions specified in the graduate education and examination regulations of the university.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
The provisions of the “Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers” are applied for recognition of the former education. |

Profile of The Programme |
Biosystems Engineering is an engineering branch based on the application of engineering principles in the fields of biology, environment and agriculture. In this context, the main purpose of the proposed program is to focus on up-to-date and critical research topics in Biosystem Engineering such as bioenergy, biosensor development, sustainable/precision agriculture, food processing and safety, agricultural mechanization, wastewater treatment/drinking water supply. It is the training of engineers with sufficient equipment in the fields.
Besides;
a) To provide modern education and training,

c) To identify the agricultural problems of the region and to find solutions,
d) To produce projects to increase the agricultural production of the region and the country,

Graduation Requirements |
Those who have taken at least 120 ECTS courses from the postgraduate courses of the program or the Itsad programs that are in line, and who, on the condition that they are successful, have achieved a 4.00 radiance and 2.00 not a solid average; In Seminar, Specialization Course and Thesis Study courses; A postgraduate diploma is given to the kundaneter who has passed the thesis defense and submitted his thesis. |

Academic staff for Biosystems Engineering includes 1 Doctor Faculty Member, 3 Doctor Research Assistants.
Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture has a modern building with a capacity of 5000 students, built on a total area of 60000 m2, 52086 m2 of which is closed. There are 48 lecture halls, 24 classrooms, 24 technical drawing rooms and 63 laboratories that can be allocated to common use.
There are 3 classrooms of 53 m2 for 40 people, 1 technical drawing room of 100 m2 for 70 people, and 3 laboratories of 65 m2 and 1 laboratory of 100 m2, which are actively used by our department. In line with the expansion in the number of students and academic staff of our department, new classroom and laboratory access will be possible. |
