General Description
History
Our department has started accepting students in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a Doctorate degree (Social Sciences) in Educational Sciences USA Education Programs and Instruction.

Specific Admission Requirements
It is calculated taking into account 50% of the ALES score, 10% of the undergraduate AGNO and 40% of the entrance exam grade. In cases where ALES score is not requested for student admission to master's programs, the percentile effect of the undergraduate AGNO and entrance exam success grade in the general evaluation system is determined by the Senate with the opinion of the relevant department/art branch board and the approval of the relevant Institute Board, provided that it is not less than the minimum values determined within the scope of the relevant legislation.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
A maximum of 3 (three) courses can be counted to the elective and/or compulsory course load defined by the relevant department/main arts, if the students who have separated from the graduate programs of higher education institutions due to dismissal or dismissal from our doctoral programs meet the minimum success grade valid for the program level of the course they have previously taken at the doctoral level.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
For students with a master's degree, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS credits in total, at least 7 courses, seminar courses, proficiency exam and thesis proposal, specialization field course, thesis work, have succeeded in thesis study, provided that it is not less than 180 ECTS credits; students who have been accepted with a bachelor's degree at least 14 courses, seminar course, proficiency exam and thesis proposal, not less than 180 ECTS credits, thesis proposal, specialization course and thesis proposal, specialization field course and thesis work, at least YT, CC or above all courses they have taken. Required. In this program, the student's GPA must be at least 3.00 out of 4.00.
Profile of The Programme
With the Education Programs and Instruction doctoral program; It is aimed to develop students' knowledge, skills and understandings related to the field of educational sciences, and to train them as individuals who have the competencies to understand, interpret and apply theories, models and research methods in their fields of study. It is aimed to provide students with expertise in the field of Education Programs and Education with courses that foresee the acquisition of program development and evaluation, learning-teaching processes, teaching models, lifelong learning, distance education and scientific research skills in education. Three professors, 1 associate professor and an assistant professor work in the department.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Those who graduated from the education programs and education doctoral program while working in any private institution or a public institution can be appointed to higher-level positions related to their fields of study or benefit from them as experts if the institutional conditions are favorable. In addition, in accordance with the relevant legal regulations, people who complete the doctoral program while working as a public official are increased by one level to the service years. Individuals who do not work in any institution or organization and graduate from education programs and education doctoral programs are employed to be evaluated in various positions in many institutions, especially private education institutions.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The measurement and evaluation processes of the courses in the program are organized for the product and process. Within the scope of the evaluation for the product, the midterm and final exams, and within the scope of the evaluation for the process, the assignments and projects made during the semester and their presentations are included in the scope of the evaluation. The percentage values of the exams may vary from course to lesson. At least one midterm exam and final exam are held for each course. The success of the student is determined by the combined evaluation of the semester grades and the semester exam grade.
