Objectives of the Course
To be able to comprehend the principles of computerized data collection, recording and control system in the field of industrial automation, to design such a system, to use an up-to-date Data Acquisition and Control software (SCADA).

Learning Outcomes
1They will be able to gain the ability to recognize, program and operate computerized data collection and control systems.
2They will be able to use one of the necessary package programs for computerized data acquisition and control systems.
3It records the signals coming from the field on hard disks. (Data Login) They will be able to create hourly, daily and weekly reports using the data.
4They will be able to create an alarm according to the data coming from the field.
5They will make the port settings of the software and will be able to communicate with the addresses on the PLC.

Course Contents
To be able to comprehend the principles of computerized data collection, recording and control system in the field of industrial automation, to design such a system, to use an up-to-date Data Acquisition and Control software (SCADA).

1Basic software and hardware required for Computerized Data acquisition and control and Installation of SCADA ProgramsInstalls the SCADA program.
2Device Connection Control Program with SCADA and SCADA Interface Design performs.Makes Control Device Connection with SCADA Program and makes SCADA Interface Design application.
3Using OPC SERVERIt makes use of OPC SERVER. It establishes the communication of one of the devices such as PLC, sensor, actuator with SCADA systems.
4TAG LOGGING application usage.Creates Archive tags with TAG LOGGING application.
5Using the ALARM HANDLING moduleWith the ALARM HANDLING module, it generates warning messages when the predetermined tag values are exceeded or changed.
6Receiving data from the field and saving the received data to the databaseApplies the processes of taking data from the field and saving the received data to the database.
7Preparing the Visual Programming Program and introducing the Objects of the Visual ProgramPrepares Visual Programming Program and recognizes its Objects.

12Making the settings of the Computer Ports with Visual Programming and communication with the addresses on the PLCIt makes port settings with Visual Programming and communicates with the addresses on the PLC.
13Changing the P, I and D values of the PID loops defined in the PLCIt changes the P, I and D values of the PID loops defined in the PLC with SCADA.
14Establishing the communication of the SCADA program with the PLC and implementing the projectsIt defines different levels of users and gives passwords. It provides the communication of the SCADA program it uses with the PLC and implements its projects.
