Objectives of the Course
To make sociological analysis of religious movements. Understanding the characteristics and types of religious movements. To analyze the relationship between religion and politics and to analyze the relationship between religious movements and politics in the world and in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes
1To win basic concepts of sociology, theories and knowledge expansion and deep interpretation based on scientific research capabilities.
2The role of theory in sociology and theoretical approaches in social analysis, research, and to understand how to use applications.
3To win depending on the information of a case or incident investigation and reporting capabilities.
4Social structures, social actors and cultural relations between the covering theoretical debates about the knowledge and understanding to win.
5Awareness about itself and its own competence, critical thinking ability to win.
6Disciplinary knowledge and skills within and across disciplines to apply their teamwork.
7Theoretical approaches, practices associated with the daily lives of different social subjects as state-society, society-individual, social structure-social relations between the state of the subject as multi-dimensional thinking and be able to analyze.
8To imporeve Turkish verbal and written communication skills and at least one foreign language written communication skills.
9To give ability course of the data obtained during the research and quantitative and qualitative research techniques by taking into consideration the scientific and ethical values, control the research process.
10Which are necessary to carry out a sociological research and computer skills to advanced statistical information.
