Fazlurrahman and Islamic modernism. Ismail Raji al-Faruqi and the Islamization of the knowledge. Naqib al-Attas and the Islamization of the knowledge. Syed Hossein Nasr and traditionalism. Muhammad Hamidullah; his works and opinions. Muhammad Arkoun and historicism. Hasan Hanafi and renewalism. Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd and the understanding of Quran. Muhammad Abid al-Jabiri; his works and opinions. Hayrettin Karaman and Islam in Modern Turkey.
