Objectives of the Course
The importance of disaster, types of disasters, measures to be taken against disasters, disaster management, the effects of disasters on public health, prevention of hazards that will create risks before, during and after disasters, reduction of damage, preparation, intervention and improvement stages of disaster management process by planning and preparing. The aim is to provide information about the duties and responsibilities of the disaster nurse, who takes an active role in disasters among the health team.
