Objectives of the Course
This course aims to use the knowledge of nursing and forensic sciences in the evaluation and care of individuals in physical, psychological and social violence and trauma.

1Defines the basic concepts of forensic medicine and forensic nursing practice
2Knows the legal regulations about health and nursing
3Knows the practice areas of forensic nursing and the roles and responsibilities of the nurse.
4Explains legal problems in individual, family and community health and health practices (Violence, forensic events against risky groups, malpractice).
5Explain the process of systematic collection of forensic evidence (gathering evidence, maintaining evidence integrity, recording, reporting)
6Explain the elements of medical and forensic examination (history taking from the patient, physical examination, genital examination, forensic evidence collection)

Lesson; forensic knowledge, nursing responsibilities in forensic cases, evaluation, support and care of the individual in violence and trauma, crime scene investigation, forensic evidence collection, storage, transmission to the relevant units and forensic records.
