Objectives of the Course
At the end of this course, students will learn the factors affecting health; basic concepts of health and health promotion; knowledge and skills necessary for the improvement of the health of the individual, family and society; the importance of protecting and promoting health; In this regard, it is aimed to learn the nurse's responsibilities and preventive practices.

This course; health-related concepts, dimensions of health, conditions and risk factors affecting health, health protection and promotion and the roles of the nurse, healthy lifestyle behaviors, quality of life, holistic health, theories and models related to health and health promotion, national and international health-related organizations, health promotion policies and strategies, the development of health behaviors in the community, and health education.
