To explain environmental effects and results of geological phenomenon, to earn necessary techniques and ability for environmental geology applications.

5Be able to define the relation to human health and environment.

Introduction to environmental geology; rocks and minerals; soils and environment; earthquake and environmental impacts; mass movement and environmental impacts; surface and groundwater pollution; environmental impacts of mining activities; energy resources and environmental impacts; waste disposal and environmental impacts; medical geology and environmental health; land-use, sanitary landfill planning and geology.
