Objectives of the Course
It consists of two main activities: production planning and control, planning and control. When production planning is concerned with when, in what quantities, where and with what possibilities, production control checks the appropriateness of the planned production and tries to eliminate the disruptions. The aim of this course is to introduce to the students in detail the activities carried out within the scope of production planning and control which are very important for the competitiveness of the enterprises, the analysis techniques and methods used. In addition, case studies and articles are discussed.

Course Contents
In this course, production systems, demand forecasting, mass production planning, main production scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, production scheduling and scheduling will be explained.
