As a result of the revision efforts of the Metal Works Program, which was established in 1997, in 2003, the Machinery Program continues its teaching activities at Cumhuriyet University Akdağmadeni Vocational School, and as of 2006, at Akdağmadeni Vocational School within Bozok University. |

YTU undergraduate associate degree programs accept students within the provisions of the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) and within the framework of the Higher Education Act Law No.2547 and those who want to enroll in these programs should not have an existing enrollment in another higher education program. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Recognition of previous formal (formal) learning in Turkish Higher Education institutions, vertical, horizontal, and within the university, within the university, "TRANSITION BETWEEN PROGRAMS AT THE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTE AND BETWEEN UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS, DOUBLE MAINAL, CREDITS BETWEEN INSTITUTIONS AND TRANSFER TO INSTITUTIONS "REGULATION". based on non-formal certification outside formal educational institutions in Turkey or based on experience (in-formal and non-formal) recognition of the learning process it is at an early stage. However, exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer and English and German in the education plans of the programs. Students who think that they provide the qualifications expected from these courses have the right to take exams. Students who take the exam and succeed are exempt from the related courses in the curriculum |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
In order to obtain an associate degree in this program, students must successfully complete all of the compulsory and elective courses (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS) and complete 20 (twenty) working days of Industry-Based Education. |
Profile of The Programme |
The profile of the program aims to provide theoretical and practical training specific to the field of machinery such as design, production, materials and measurement, as well as courses on basic sciences, to train a well-equipped intermediate staff and engineer candidate.

The students are directed to cooperate with surrounding universities, non-governmental organizations, businesses related to the Department of Machine and Metal Technology, trade associations and professional staff in the program requires academic activities, employment opportunities, and planning issues. They are employed in public institutions and organizations related to companies for goods and services in Machinery Manufacturing industry.

Access to Further Studies |
Candidates who have completed associate degree training can study bachelor’s degree programs (engineer or technical teacher) if they get a desired grade from DGS (vertical transfer exam) and if they are placed by ÖSYM (Student selection and Placement Centre). |
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Success is determined by at least a mid-term evaluation, a final exam, and giving assignments based on course content for the duration of training for each course in the program.

Graduation Requirements |
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00, and successfully complete the Industry-based education (internship). |

Facilities |
There are 3 adet öğretim görevlisi and two instructor working in this programme and students develop their knowledge and skills in Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing area in CAD/CAM laboratory and they can also learn the basic skills of computer science in Computer laboratory as well as material science, welding, CNC, computer integrated laboratory and manufacturing laboratory they follow. |
