General Description
History
Yozgat Bozok University Vocational School of Architecture and Urban Planning Department of Architectural Restoration Program 2018-2019 academic year has started pre-graduate education in the normal formal education.
Qualification Awarded
The program is available (for a total of 120 ECTS) have successfully completed all courses and at least 2.0 GPA on a 4.00 scale from undergraduate students who are awarded in the field of architectural restoration.

Specific Admission Requirements
Higher Education Council (HEC) in the framework set by the regulations, the adoption of this program the student Measurement Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) is made by the examination system. Student enrollment procedures; It is carried out within the framework of principles determined by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (OSYM). The Rector's Office announces the registration date, desired documents and registration places of the student candidates who will make the first entry to the University annually. Registration procedures are carried out by the Student Affairs Office. It is not possible to register with the missing document or mail. Records are not recorded for those found to be tampered with in the documents.

Students who think they provide the qualifications expected from these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who enter and succeed in the examination are exempted from the relevant courses in the course schedule.

Profile of The Programme
Architectural Restoration, both clerical and administrative issues in terms of restoration, and construction sites, laboratories and workshops of restoration needed "for architectural restoration," to do the necessary protection and repair work, which is aware of conservation, environmentally sensitive, responsible, able to follow the developments of modern, enterprising, aims to educate technical staff equipped with the practical and theoretical skills.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Architectural Restoration Program graduates employment areas in our country is quite large. Graduates of our program "Restoration Technician" working in the fields of restoration with the title of the public (Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Central Laboratory of Restoration and Conservation, Surveying and Monuments Directorate, General Directorate of Foundations, Protection Application Control Offices - KUDEB, ...) and private institutions, laboratories, construction sites and offices, museums and palaces belonging to the Department of National Palaces and private museums, archaeological teams of architects and the technical staff are employed as construction sites.
Access to Further Studies
Vertical Transfer Associate Exam candidates who have successfully completed training (DGS) to take note of the current condition with the Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, Tile, Old Tile Repairs, Handicrafts, Traditional Turkish Handicrafts, Traditional Turkish Arts, Gilding degree programs can study.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
It is necessary that at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications should be continued in order for each student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and to enter the final exam. Students are required to take midterm examinations (midterm, quiz, homework, project, practice or similar) and final exam for each course. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There are one midterm and one final exam in the semester. 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam are collected and the student's achievement grade is determined.

Completion of 120 ECTS credits and interns from four semesters successfully.

Facilities
There are four lecturers in the program. There are 2 laboratories with 60 computers to enable students to practice. There are specially designed drawing tables and projections in the classrooms. Also, field studies are carried out by the faculty members of the department.

8At least one foreign language at the level of the European Language Portfolio A2 field of general information about the tracks and communicates with colleagues.
9Learns the ancient regions and ancient cities in Anatolia. Learn about the civilizations that established the ancient settlements. Have knowledge about the restorations in ancient cities.
10Defines the concept and functions of museums and museology. Explains the historical development of museums. Can prepare all kinds of inventory studies in museums. Defines museums and archaeological artifacts. The museum controls the display and arrangement. Gains knowledge of Conservation Techniques and Restoration in the Museum.
11Gains knowledge of the objectives, historical development, values that need to be preserved and the basic principles of determination, evolution of conservation understanding, application terminology and methods of conservation and restoration.
12Have knowledge about research methods, excavation methods and types of archeology. In the practice of archeology, the legislation acquires the knowledge and skills of drawing and cataloging within the scope of museology and documentation of works in the presentation examinations of the material.
13Recognize the historical development of architectural decoration and their understanding of decoration in traditional architecture. They will have information about the inset-add decoration elements, examples of decoration created with the proportions of architectural elements.
14Have basic information about Occupational Health and Safety that can work in Restoration Projects.
15Can fully understand the concept of restoration and carry out multidisciplinary studies in restoration.
