The Qualification of MEDICAL IMAGING TECNIQUES PROGRAMME is obtained upon graduation from the programme MEDICAL IMAGING TECNIQUES PROGRAMME, which requires;
Completion of all the courses designated within the curriculum of the programme, having a total of 120 ECTS Credits, with passing grades, and
Achievement of a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. |
Profile of The Programme |
The program also aimsto educate students who can use ionizing radiation and nonionizing to diagnose and treat diseases; make Conventional and Digital Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); obtain images with Ultrasound Medical Imaging devices such as PET-CT, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasonography; get the film and the images ready for use; have the ability to control and renew the instruments and equipments. |

Graduates of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program can work as technicians in the Radiology (Conventional Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Angiography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy), Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy departments of public, university, private hospitals, private medical centers and private imaging centers. |

In order for a student to graduate from the MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNIQUES program, his/her GPA must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00. He must have succeeded in all compulsory courses in the education program. He must have succeeded in all other studies (internships) foreseen in the program. He must have completed a total workload of 120 ECTS credits. His graduation has been decided by the relevant Board of Directors. must have been given. |

Students graduated from this program can work as "Medical Imaging Technician" in hospitals. University Hospitals, State Hospitals, Private Hospitals etc. All Hospitals are graduated from the program with the title of Health Technician by completing all the professional applications and internships in the program. Today, almost every hospital in our country has a radiology department. In addition, the number of private imaging centers is increasing day by day. For this reason, the need for trained staff in hospitals and special imaging centers is also increasing. Medical imaging technicians who are currently graduated from the Ministry of Health have been established in recent years. Medical imaging technicians are in serious need of government and private hospitals. |
