Computer Programming Program, which is one of the 13 associate degree programs within our vocational school, was accepted and opened at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting on 13.02.2013. It started its educational activities in the 2016-2017 academic year. |

Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all the requirements receive the "Associate Degree Diploma in Computer Programming" degree. This degree corresponds to level 5 of the European Qualifications framework. |

In order to apply for this program, they must take the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) and obtain enough points in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT). |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Transfers to this program are made in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the principles determined by the senate of Yozgat Bozok University. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
Students who successfully complete all courses of the two-year (four semesters) education program (equivalent to 120 ECTS in total) and 20 working days of compulsory internship are awarded with associate degree. |

In parallel with the rapid developments in the information sector in recent years, the use of computer technology has increased rapidly in business and current life. Computer technology and programming; computer use, making software (for PC, network environment and the Internet), hardware, maintenance, repair and installation and management of computer networks. Students in the Computer Technologies Department are trained as having sufficient knowledge in all areas of computer science, equipped with the ability to apply their knowledge to a high degree, and able to develop themselves continuously in line with technological developments. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and to take the final exam, they must attend at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications. For each course, students are subjected to mid-term exams (midterm, quiz, homework, project, application or similar studies) and final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. A make-up exam is held for students who fail the final exam and who want to upgrade their conditional courses.

Graduation Requirements |
Students who have successfully completed all of the courses in the program for a total of 120 ECTS and have a minimum GPA of 2.0 out of 4.00 are eligible to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, a 20-day compulsory summer internship is required for graduation. |
