General Description
History
Şefaatli Vocational School was established on 12.11.2015, Land Registry and Cadastre Program for the period 2018-2019 Education -Teaching students have started taking the training.

Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a high school and equivalent school diploma and a result document showing that they have been placed in the relevant department by obtaining a sufficient score from the Basic Proficiency Test (BPT) conducted by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course in the compulsory curriculum of the program and for other courses approved by the Senate. Those who score points or above from the students who take the exam are considered successful and are exempted from the relevant course or courses in the curriculum. In addition, students enrolled in our University can request that they be exempted from the courses they have successfully completed in higher education institutions. To do this, they have to submit their transcripts and course contents to the relevant unit within the first week of the year registered with a petition.

To be successful in all of the courses (120 ECTS equivalent) available in the program, to obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to complete the Industry Practices Training.
Profile of The Programme
The purpose of the program is to train qualified professionals who have gained the necessary professional qualifications in line with the needs of the sector, scientific and technological developments in the professions under the Map-Land Registry-Cadastre Area.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates of the Land Registry and Cadastre Program have the opportunity to be employed in many fields related to their professions in the public and private sectors and can also establish their own businesses.
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have successfully completed their associate degree education can study in Public Administration, Map Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Land Registry and Cadastre Undergraduate Program with the Vertical Transfer Exam (VTE).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Written, practical and oral evaluations are made for each course. Whether the students are successful in the courses they take is subjected to evaluation in two stages as an midterm and a final exam. Apart from midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities deemed appropriate by the instructor can be done. The number of these activities and their contribution to the success grade are specified by the instructor in the lesson plan. These evaluations are converted to the grade of success with the weights determined and announced for the courses and add to the cumulative academic average in proportion to the ECTS value of the course. The grade of success is converted into a letter grade with the relative evaluation system. In order to be successful in a course, the student must take CC as the minimum letter grade. Students whose GANO is at least 2.00 are also considered successful in the courses they receive (DC) and (DD). Students who do not have a failed course, but whose GANO is below 2.00, must first take their (DC) and (DD) courses to increase their GANO above 2.00 in order to graduate.

Facilities
Land Registry Cadastre Program provides training in Turkish. There are computer labs and a library that are open to students.
