In accordance with the Article 7 / d-2 of the Law No. 2547 of the Law No. 2547 of the Higher Education Council and numbered 80562 dated 19/12/2016, our Vocational School is within the body of Yozgat Bozok University. She participated. Our school is a two-year associate degree school and has Medical Documentation and Secretariat, Medical Promotion and Marketing, First and Emergency Aid, Elderly Care and Child Development programs.
The child development program started education in the 2019-2020 academic year.As the Child Development Program, our aim is to develop all developmental areas (mental, language, motor) of normally developing children between the ages of 0-18, children with special needs, children in need of protection (children living in normal/special needs institutions, working, refugees and children pushed into crime) and hospitalized children. In addition to developing supportive programs (e.g., self-care, social and emotional), to train child development experts who provide services to the child, family, educator and society. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Students who have graduated from vocational high schools are accepted to the program within the quota of the program. Standard high school graduates are placed in vacant places according to the results of Higher Education Institutions Examination. Placement is carried out by OSYM. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Recognition of the previous formal (formal) learning in Turkish Higher Education institutions, vertical, horizontal and transitions within the university. Regulation ". based on non-formal certification outside formal educational institutions in Turkey or based on experience (in-formal and non-formal) recognition of the learning process it is at an early stage. Therefore, recognition of prior learning is not fully initiated in all programs of Bozok University. However, exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer and English and German in the curriculum of the programs. Students who feel that they meet the expected qualifications of these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who pass the exam are exempted from the related courses in the curriculum. |

Profile of The Programme |
The Child Development program runs a program designed to train effective assistants with basic knowledge and skills in the field of preschool education and child development. The program includes compulsory courses on child development and general culture. In addition to compulsory courses, students are offered the opportunity to choose courses according to their own preferences. Thus, the Child Development Program educates graduates who can provide necessary education and continue their professional development by considering the developmental characteristics of children in the age group of 0-6 years through interdisciplinary studies both individually and in groups. |
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Graduates of this program are assigned to institutions and organizations affiliated to MoNE and Ministry of Family and Social Policies if they get the required score from KPSS. They can also work in private schools, kindergartens, rehabilitation and special education institutions for children with special needs. |
