| Yozgat Bozok University Mechanical and Metal Technology Department, which is one of the basic departments of Technical İ.ö. Sciences Vocational School, was opened in 1981-1982 in accordance with the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Non-Formal Higher Education. With the founding of Bozok University in 2006, he moved to this new university. Machine Program basic education principle; By combining current, scientific and technological studies together with design, material and production fields, students are trained to meet the needs of the age in the fields of student machinery and metal processing technologies and train the intermediate staff who desires the industry. The language of education is Turkish. |

| Specific Admission Requirements |
| The conditions for admission and registration of this program are within the scope of Turkish higher education legislation. Students who are graduated from the programa vocational high school are accepted without quotas within the quota of the program. Empty quotas are placed according to the results of standard high school graduates' Higher Education Entrance Exam. Placement is made by OSYM. The registration requirements are the same as the Higher Education Entry System. |

However, exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer and English and German in the education plans of the programs. Students who think that they provide the qualifications expected from these courses have the right to take exams. Students who take the exam and succeed are exempt from the related courses in the curriculum. |

| Students who have successfully completed all of the courses of two years (four semesters) of education - training programs (total 120 ECTS credits) and 30 working days of compulsory vocational training are awarded the associate degree. |
| Profile of The Programme |
| The main objective of this section is to train specialists in the production stages of the industry sector by creating the educational, psychological and communicative skills of the students. The program has an educational structure consisting of 4 semesters within 2 years of education period. The knowledge, skills and behavior acquired during the training period constitute the basic skills for working in production stages. The industrial sector meets the need for the necessary intermediate staff who have sufficient knowledge and work skills in the design and production of machine elements, machining and punching machines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, CNC workbenches and Cad-Cam programs that are needed in the production stages of the industrial sector. . At the end of the program, the students complete a total of 30 days of internship. Thus, the theory and application possibilities are provided. |
| Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
| Graduates are trained in the public sector and in the relevant departments of the factories operating in the industry, to meet the need for technicians between engineers and technicians. They can manufacture, install, maintain and diagnose any kind of mechanical systems, machine benches according to the structure of the working institution. Technicians can open their own private businesses if they wish. |
| Access to Further Studies |
| 1-Graduates can continue to some programs of open education without examinations. Those who are successful in the applied integration program continue in the 3rd year. They have a bachelor's degree from a field outside their field (business, economics, etc.). 2-After graduation, they can continue their education in their fields by entering the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) in the departments determined in their fields.

| Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
| It is necessary that at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications should be continued in order for each student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and to enter the final exam. Students are required to take midterm examinations (midterm, quiz, homework, project, practice or similar) and final exam for each course. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There are one midterm and one final exam in the semester. 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam are collected and the student's achievement grade is determined. |
| Graduation Requirements |
| Students who have successfully completed all of the 120 ECTS credits in the program and who achieve a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are eligible to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, an internship is a must for graduation. |
