| History | | Machinery and Metal Technologies Department Agricultural Machinery Program, which is one of the main departments of Yozgat Bozok University Yozgat Vocational School, was opened in 1981-1982 under the General Directorate of Non-formal Education. With the establishment of Bozok University in 2006, it became a part of this new university. Basic education principle of Agricultural Machinery Program; By combining the manufacturing and marketing of agricultural tools and machinery, renewable energy, agricultural production and processing of agricultural products, scientific and technological studies, the student is trained to meet the requirements of the age in the field of Agricultural Machinery and educates the intermediate staff desired by the sector. The language of education is Turkish. | | Qualification Awarded | | Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all the requirements receive the "Associate Degree Diploma in Agricultural Machinery". This diploma degree awarded corresponds to the 5th level education level within the scope of the European Qualifications framework. | | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | | Short Cycle | | Specific Admission Requirements | | Admission and registration requirements for this program are made within the scope of Turkish Higher Education Legislation. Graduates who take vocational high schools to the program are admitted within the program quota without an examination. Standard high school graduates are placed in empty quotas according to the results of Higher Education Entrance Exam. Placement is done by ÖSYM. Students who take the exam and succeed are exempt from the related courses in the curriculum. | | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | | Students who successfully complete the two-year (four semesters) education and training courses (120 ECTS in total) and 20 working days of compulsory vocational internship will receive an associate degree. | | Profile of The Programme | | The main purpose of this section is to train experts in the production levels of the Industry sector by creating the educational, psychological and communicative skills of the students. The program has an education structure consisting of 4 semesters within the 2-year training period. The knowledge, skills and behaviors acquired during the training period form the basic skills for working at the production levels. It meets the need for intermediate staff with sufficient knowledge and work skills in the design and production of machine elements required by the industrial sector in the production stages, machining and chipless manufacturing benches, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, CNC benches and Cad-Cam programs. . Students complete a 20-day professional internship at the end of the program. | | Access to Further Studies | | - Department graduates can continue some programs of open education without examination. Those who are successful in the applied adaptation program continue from the 3rd grade. They have a bachelor's degree in a field other than their field (business, economics etc.). 2-They can continue their education in their fields by entering the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) in the departments that are made after graduation and determined in their fields. | | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | | In order for each student to register for classes at the beginning of the semester and to take the final exam, they must have attended at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the practices. For each course, students are subjected to mid-term studies (midterm, quiz, homework, project, application or similar studies) and final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In the semesters, one midterm and one final exam are held. The student's grade is determined by adding 40% of the midterm and 60% of the final exam. | | Graduation Requirements | | Students who successfully complete all 120 ECTS equivalent courses in the program and achieve a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are eligible to graduate.
