| History |
| The Banking and Insurance program was opened in the 2021-2022 academic year under the Yozgat Bozok University Yozgat Vocational High School Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance and continues its education activities with a quota of 30 people. There are three permanent lecturers in the program. |

| Students who have successfully completed all of the courses of two years (four semesters) of education - training programs (total 120 ECTS credits) and 20 working days of compulsory vocational training are awarded the associate degree. |
| Profile of The Programme |
| It is an associate degree program that aims to provide 5th level academic and professional competencies. Duration of Education: 2 years (Including the internship period.) (The total duration of the program is 3000-3600 hours. This period covers the total learning time of the modules in the courses). |
| Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
| Our graduates can pursue careers in public and private sector banks, all of financial institutions, accounting companies and finance department of finance department of any type of business. Graduates who want to work as an insurer can work in public and private sector institutions and organizations where insurance services are provided as well as establish their own businesses. In accordance with Article 31 of the Insurance Law No. 5684, students graduated from Vocational High Schools, Banking and Insurance Program are authorized to open agencies. However, graduates must work in an insurance company for the duration specified by law in order to be able to open an agency. In addition, within the scope of this law, graduates of the Banking and Insurance Program have the same rights as graduates of 4-year faculties in exams and recruitment in the Insurance Sector. |

| Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
| In-term activities (mid-term, short exam, homework, project, application or similar studies) are in the form of final exam and make-up exam. |
| Graduation Requirements |
| A student must complete 120 ECTS credits in order to graduate. The Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00. In addition, 20 working days must have successfully completed the internship. |

| In our department, educational activities are carried out with 3 instructors. In our department, courses are carried out in classrooms with a capacity and projection of 30 people and in a computer laboratory. Students of our department can benefit from the computer laboratory open throughout the day free of charge. |
