The Marketing Program was opened in the 2009-2010 academic year under the Department of Marketing and Foreign Trade of Bozok University Vocational School. There is 1 permanent lecturer working in the program. |
Qualification Awarded |
Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all the requirements receive the "Associate Degree Diploma in Marketing". This diploma degree awarded corresponds to the 5th level education level within the scope of the European Qualifications framework. |

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Recognition of previous formal (formal) learning in Turkish Higher Education Institutions, vertical, horizontal and internal contradictions within the university "TRANSFER BETWEEN ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS, DOUBLE MAJOR, SUB-BRANCH AND INTERSTITUTIONAL CREDIT STRUCTURES IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. It is carried out within the scope of "REGULATION". In Turkey, the recognition process of non-formal certificate-based or experience-based (in-formal and non-formal) learning is still in its infancy, except for formal education institutions. Therefore, the recognition of prior learning has not been fully initiated in all programs of Bozok University. However, exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer and English and German included in the education plans of the programs. Students who think that they meet the expected qualifications from these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who pass the exam and pass the exam are exempted from the relevant courses in the curriculum. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
Students who successfully complete all courses (total 120 ECTS) of two-year (four semesters) education and training programs and 20 working days of compulsory vocational internship receive an associate degree. |

The main aim of the department is to train qualified personnel who can analyze market conditions and have a good command of Marketing and Promotion practices for both private and public sectors. |

Access to Further Studies |
With DGS, it is possible to transfer to the departments of the Faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences or related faculties. In addition, there is a right of access to the Open Education Faculty. |
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and take the final exam, they must attend at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the practices. For each course, students are subjected to midterm studies (midterm exam, quiz, homework, project, practice or similar studies) and final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In the semester courses, a midterm and a final exam are given. The success grade of the student is determined by adding 40% of the midterm and 60% of the final exam. |
Graduation Requirements |
Students who successfully complete all 120 ECTS courses available in the program and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, an internship is a must for graduation. |
