General Description
History
Radio and Television Programming was established under the Audio-Visual Techniques and Media Production Department, which was opened in Yozgat Bozok University Social Sciences Vocational School in 2017. Our program, which has started to accept students since the 2018-2019 academic year, has a professional academic staff that is well-trained in the field of communication and has fully acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and formation.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive an associate degree in Radio and Television Programming.

General admission requirements for Turkish and foreign students are valid to start the program.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
If students who are registered to another Higher Education University in the country or abroad where they have studied before, apply within the first week, their credit and grade transfer requests are evaluated by the relevant education unit's administrative board and a decision is made only once, covering the entire education.

Based on the qualifications gained at the secondary education level, textbooks containing up-to-date information in the field, application tools and other resources and support and practical knowledge
Profile of The Programme
The general aim of this program is primarily in the local media sector; To train local media workers who have communication skills, can communicate accurately and effectively, convey true and honest news to the public, comply with the basic principles and ethical rules of journalism, and provide effective service.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates who successfully complete the Radio and Television Programming Associate Degree Program can work in public institutions and private sectors operating in the field of radio and television.
Access to Further Studies
Students who have graduated from the Radio and Television Programming Associate Degree Program must take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in order to continue their undergraduate education from the 5th semester of formal education or open education undergraduate programs. Students who graduate from this program can access detailed information from the 2022 Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Program Graduates Vertical Transfer to Undergraduate Education Exam (DGS) Guide, which shows the undergraduate programs they can apply for within the scope of vertical transfer, the conditions of these programs and the number of students to be admitted to these programs. In this guide, there are principles and rules about how candidates can apply, how to make their undergraduate program preferences, examination, evaluation and placement procedures, the procedures to be carried out by the vocational school directorates and the units to which the open education associate degree programs are affiliated.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Evaluation of the exams and passing the course system are determined according to the education and exam practice principles of Yozgat Bozok University.
Graduation Requirements
Students who have taken 120 ECTS credits and successfully completed all courses in the Radio and Television Programming Associate Degree Program, do not have FF, YZ, DZ grades, have a GPA of at least 2.00 and fulfill other obligations can graduate. It is not possible to graduate with missing credits below these credits. Students who fulfill the graduation requirements in the Radio and Television Programming Associate Degree Program receive the "Open Education Faculty Radio and Television Programming Associate Degree Program".
