History | Yozgat Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture was established in 1994 under the name of Erciyes University and started its education programme in the same year. Following the establishment of Bozok University, it continues its undergraduate education under the name of Bozok University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture and then Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Architecture. | Qualification Awarded | If students have succeding under graduate programme, they have get on Architect style. | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | First Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | The department accepts students with numerical score according to the results of the central university exam (ÖSYM).
Foreign students are accepted by Yozgat Bozok University foreign student exam (YÖS) and other state universities according to the foreign student selection exam (YÖS) score, according to the minimum score and quota specified by the department each year. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | Along architecture education, it is used in formal education in addtion to informal education. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | In order to successfully complete the Program all courses (240 ECTS credits) must be achived and must be had a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 | Profile of The Programme | The program includes four divisions namely, Building Science and Technology, Building Design and Theory, History of Architecture and Restoration. An academic year contains two semesters of 14 weeks including registration and examination periods. Some courses are also given in summer semester. The language of teaching is in Turkish. | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | Architects graduated from department employedin private offices or architectural offices, public establishment and entropices, University, contruction sites, building material market, interior design and decoration works. | Access to Further Studies | Architects accomplish under graduate education, for graduate education neccesarry conditions in the term of they go on graduate education. | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | Studio Courses and Special Assessment are prerequisite courses. Midterm exams of all studio courses are held in the form of "Sketch Exam" and/or "Jury Preliminary Evaluation" with at least 1 (one) midterm exam each semester. This evaluation constitutes 40% of the final grade. The final exams of the studio courses are made by the student in the form of an open oral defence / presentation of the project that the student has worked on during a semester on the basis of a jury. The percentage ratio valid for the semester and final exam scores is determined by the instructor of the course.
