History | The department has started the education in 2018-2019 academic year within Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. | Qualification Awarded | Bachelor's Degree | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | First Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | Our department takes students with central examinations made by OSYM. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | There are no program specific arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | The students who successfully complete 240 ECTS and acheive a minimum of 2.00 GPA, are awarded an undergraduate diploma. | Profile of The Programme | The aims of the programme are to provide students with necessary knowledge and skills about the public sector economics, tax system and general economics. The students accepted to the Department of Public Finance in 2018. The students who successfully complete 240 ECTS and acheive a minimum of 2.00 GPA, are awarded an undergraduate diploma. In Department of PF, one mid-term and a final exam is administered for each course. Our university uses a curve system in which a student must obtain a minimum grade of CC in order to pass the course. In order to calculate the average, 40 percent of the midterm and 60 percent of the final exam are added. Failed students can take a make up exam after the final. Department of Public Finance has five main branches: • Theory of Public Finance • Fiscal Law • Fiscal Economics• Budget and Financial Planning • History of Public Finance the deparment of Public Finance .
| Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | In general, students who have completed their education in finance departments will have high common denominators of the courses given in different sections of the faculties of economics and administrative sciences. This diversity of graduates of the Public Finance department provides a significant advantage in the competition examinations for career professions in public. All academic staff who continue their academic life in Yozgat Bozok University Public Finance Department have academic and ethical superiorities. | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | Calculation and assessment methods applied for each course is defined in the “Course Education Plan” in the Information Package and prepared by the concerned lecturer(s). Regarding the exams and course success grades, the concerned articles of the Yozgat Bozok University Graduate Education and Teaching Exam Regulations apply. At least two activities, one of which is a mid-term exam, are carried out in the mid-term evaluation.

66900 YOZGAT | Facilities | The department consists of 4 full-time academic staff, of which 1 assoc. prof., 2 assist. prof.,1 research assistant. The language of instruction is 100% Turkish. The Department prepares students for a competitive work environment with computer and language labs and classrooms all fully equipped with projection machines including the internet connection in all rooms. There is a Bozok Finance Society Club established in the department for the field of finance.Students can take a part in the activities of these clubs in the light of their area of interest. By means of symposiums and congresses, speakers are invited to our faculty and students have the chance of chasing the developments in practice as well as in theory. In addition to that, students have a chance to participate in activities like football, basketball, volleyball etc |
