Specific Admission Requirements |
Candidates who enter student placement test of TYT and AYT-English Test within YKS system are admitted to the program and all students are required to take proficiency exam. Those successful in the exam start as freshman in the Division of English Language Teaching undergraduate program. Those who cannot pass the exam attend English Preparatory School at School of Foreign Languages for one year. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Students starting English Language Teaching undergraduate program are required to have advanced language skills to be able to follow classes and succeed in them.
Students who previously have studied at another university can be exempted from certain courses when the course contents of the left school are matched with those studied in English Language Teaching undergraduate program and Faculty Administrative Body confirms it.

Profile of The Programme |
English Language Teaching Undergraduate Program consists of 240 ECTS credits in total and consists of a modular curriculum. The medium of instruction is English. The undergraduate program is composed of departmental courses, area electives, and other elective courses comprising pedagogical knowledge courses and general knowledge courses.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Graduates of the Division of English Language Teaching can work as English instructors at state and foundation universities apart from public schools of the Ministry of Education and private schools. Moreover, they can serve as translators, assistant experts, and experts at various institutions (translation agencies, ministries, foreign trade). |

The relevant articles in the Examination Regulation of Yozgat Bozok University Associate and Undergraduate Education are used for the exams and final grades. |
Graduation Requirements |
To be able to graduate from the program, students are required to take the required (compulsary or eşective) undergraduate courses in return for 240 ECTS credits and succeed in them; and also have a general academic average of 2.00 out of 4.00. |
