General Description
History
Our faculty consists of 2 departments, Basic Sciences and Clinical Sciences, and 8 departments belonging to the Clinical Sciences Department. The establishment of the Clinical Sciences Department and the departments under this department was decided at the Higher Education Executive Board Meeting dated 24.03.2021 and the establishment of the Basic Sciences Department and the Basic Medical Sciences Department affiliated to this department.

Specific Admission Requirements
1) Final registration of students placed in the Faculty by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) is made within the framework of the provisions of the Law No. 2547 and the principles determined by the Higher Education Council. Student contributions are paid within the periods stipulated in the academic calendar. Those who do not pay the contribution fee or pay incompletely within the period and whose excuses are not accepted by the Faculty Administrative Board are not registered or renewed for that semester, and these individuals cannot benefit from their student rights in the relevant semester. (2) The first registration procedures of the students are made by the student himself, together with the required documents, on the dates determined and announced by the Rectorate. However, the registration procedures of the students who are unable to register due to their excuses can be made by those who have an official power of attorney. The original or a copy approved by the University of the requested documents are accepted. Regarding military service status and criminal record, action is taken based on the written statement of the candidate. Students who do not register in due time and/or cannot provide the required documents within the prescribed time limit lose their enrollment rights. The records of those who give false documents or make written statements are canceled even if they are made. (3) Registration and admission of foreign students to the Faculty are made in accordance with the Yozgat Bozok University Foreign Student Admission Directive.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Transfer procedures from other universities to the Faculty; Transition between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions published in the Official Gazette dated 24/4/2010 and numbered 27561 is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Principles of Transfer of Credits between Double Major, Minor and Institutions and the decisions of the Council of Higher Education and the Senate. The adjustments of these students are made by the Faculty Administrative Board. Due to the implementation of a semester-based education program in the faculty, lateral transfer is carried out only at the beginning of the semester. Candidates must submit their applications for lateral transfer within the time specified in the lateral transfer announcement.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order for the student to have completed his education and be accepted as a graduate, it is obligatory to meet the following conditions: a) To successfully complete all the courses stipulated by the Dentistry Education-Training program in accordance with the provisions of the 'Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Dentistry Education-Training and Examination Directive' and other graduation conditions, if any. b) To complete the total amount of 300 ECTS credits stipulated by the five-year Dentistry Education-Training Program, 75 ECTS of which are elective courses, c) To ensure that the overall academic grade point average is at least 60.00 and to be affiliated with the University not be cut.

Diş Hekimliği programı temel tıp eğitiminin yanı sıra ağız ve çevre dokularını ilgilendiren hastalıkların teşhisi ve tedavisi ile ilgili konuları kapsamaktadır. Diş Hekimliği eğitiminde etik kurallara uyan, güncel bilimsel gelişmeleri takip eden ve topluma hizmeti görev olarak benimseyen değerlere sahip bireylerin yetiştirilmesi ön planda tutulmuştur.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The measurement and evaluation methods applied for each course are defined in the "Course Teaching Plan" prepared by the relevant faculty member/s. Regarding the exams and course success grades, the relevant articles of the Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Dentistry Education-Training and Examination regulations are applied.

Facilities
In our 8 Departments consisting of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics, 1 Professor, 8 Assist Prof. educational service continue and researches are carried out.
