General Description
History
Our School, which was established with the Decision of the Council of Ministers published in the Official Gazette dated 26 February 2010 and numbered 27505, aims to train managers in various branches of the Physical Education and Sports Teachers at primary and high schools, as well as various departments of the departments of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. continues its activities.

Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a Bachelor of Science (Bachelor of Science) in Training in Education.

Students who wish to enroll in the department must complete the processes / exams determined by ÖSYM within the framework of the academic and legal regulations of the university. A student who has started to study in the equivalent program at home or abroad can apply for transfer. Students' admissions are examined before the semester begins, taking into account the conditions of each student and the degree to which they apply, and are evaluated specially. Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Students studying at Bozok University may be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of the course taken in another institution is in conformity with the content of the course given at Bozok University and approved by the relevant faculty / institute directorate, the student can be exempted from this course.

Have knowledge about 2PY2-Training methods and applications. 3PY3-Explains the structure and functioning of sports organizations. 4PY4-Explains performance and ability measurement methods. 5PY5-Has information about the effect of psychology on sports performance. 6PY6-Has knowledge about prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries. 7PY7-Has information about sports nutrition. 8PY8-Has knowledge about physical activity and exercise methods and practices that promote community health. 9PY9-Has sufficient professional English knowledge about sports. 10PY10-Recognizes national and international sports organizations and knows their working features. 11PY11-Has information about the necessary intervention in the face of life-threatening emergencies that may arise during sportive activity. 12PY12-Knows, uses and develops facilities, equipment and training technologies related to sports field (specialty sports branch). 13PY13-Has information about the structure, functions and development of the human organism. 14PY14-Has the knowledge and skills to organize sports activities and competitions. 15PY15-Observes the current performance of athletes with different measurement and evaluation methods. 16PY16-Makes the necessary applications for the development of the technical and tactical skills of the athletes. 17PY17-It has the knowledge and skills to guide and develop sportsmen and students in line with their interests and abilities. 18PY18-Management has high communication skills to carry out relations in the athlete and family triangle. 19PY19-Has the necessary knowledge and skills in team building, preparation for competitions and participation in any sport branch. 20PY20-Has knowledge about the physical structure and movement system of the human body. 21PY21-Gains the ability to use a computer. Has the ability to use hardware, software and the Internet. 23PY23-Know the concepts related to physical education and sports and explain the relations between concepts.
Profile of The Programme
While the Department of Coaching Education program applies an intensive curriculum in the field of sports sciences, it carries out a training plan in order to train its students as good trainers, experts and conditioners in the sports branches of their choice. The curriculum of the department includes compulsory and elective courses related to the coaching profession and general culture.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates work as trainers, sports specialists and conditioners in the federations, clubs, private primary education, secondary education and universities of the relevant sports branches.
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in their own fields or postgraduate programs in the related fields, provided that they get a valid grade from the ALES exam and have sufficient knowledge of English.

Graduation Requirements
Students who study in this program must have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and be successful by getting at least C3 / 2.00 from all courses envisaged in the curriculum. The minimum ECTS to be earned for graduation is 240. Students are also required to complete their compulsory internship at the specified time and feature.

Facilities
The number of teaching staff in the Coaching Department is 9 in total. The department has facilities such as a Wellness Center and training classrooms. In addition, the semi-olympic indoor swimming pool in the city, sports halls on campus, football fields, tennis courts, artistic gymnastics halls are used for the execution of the school's education programs.
