Yozgat Bozok University Sarıkaya School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation; It was established in 2016 with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 13/06/2016 and numbered 2016/8969. Our school started to admit students for the first time in 2020-2021. In the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in our school, 4-year education and training activities are carried out. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
The right to admit and enroll in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation department is determined according to the YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) held by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Students submit their preference forms to ÖSYM through the system by listing their department preferences according to the scores they receive as a result of the exam. The student is placed in the appropriate program by ÖSYM according to his / her score and preference. Students complete their registration with the required documents within the principles determined by the ÖSYM and the Rectorate and within the announced period. The candidate who does not register within the time limit loses the right to register. Originals of the documents required for registration or their copies approved by the University are accepted. Candidates with missing documents are not registered. |

Formal Recognition of prior learning is carried out within the scope of "Yozgat Bozok University Directive on Horizontal Transfer to Associate Degree and Undergraduate Programmes, Horizontal Transfer Between Programmes, Vertical Transfer, Student in Exchange Programmes, Student in Simultaneous Learning, Special Student, Exemption and Adjustment Procedures". |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
Successful completion of all the courses available in the programme (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS) and having a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 is the qualification requirement for graduation. Qualification requirements and rules are applied within the framework of "Yozgat Bozok University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations". |
Profile of The Programme |
Within the scope of protection and improvement of health, to detect movement and function disorders in patients diagnosed by a physician and to apply the necessary physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment program and in order to plan and implement preventive physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs in healthy individuals, it is to train physiotherapists who have the necessary professional competence, respect ethical values and adopt an interdisciplinary working style. |
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Physiotherapists can work in various fields in the health sector: from inpatient treatment centres to special education and rehabilitation centres to industrial enterprises. They can also work in schools, sports clubs, nursing homes and vocational rehabilitation centres. By completing relevant study programmes at university, they can specialise through post-graduate studies and can hold the titles of science specialist or doctorate. |

Graduation Requirements |
As stated in the Yozgat Bozok University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, in order for a student to graduate, he/she must pass all the compulsory courses and the necessary elective courses of the programme in which he/she is enrolled, complete the minimum of 240 ECTS credits specified in this relevant regulation and have a graduation grade of at least 2.00. |

The school is equipped with four classrooms, six laboratories, a library, a computer room, an activity hall, a dining hall, and a canteen. Education and research activities are conducted by a team of experienced faculty members, including one Associate Professor, two Assistant Professors, and three Lecturers. |
