History | Faculty of Engineering-Architecture of the Erciyes University Yozgat Campus established with Decree Law No. 496 in 1993 has Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geological Engineering, and Architecture departments. Education of the Civil Engineering department was started 1994 -1995 academic year in Yozgat Campus. With the establishment of Bozok University, Education of the Civil Engineering Division has continued as Bozok University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Science since 2009.
| Qualification Awarded | The Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (second cycle in Civil Engineering) is awarded to the graduates who have successfully fulfilled all programme requirements. | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | Second Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | Students are accepted to Master's program by doing interview. Number of students to be admitted to graduate programs and the qualifications of the candidate students, are announced before the beginning of each semester. Application requirements and deadlines of this announcement, candidates will be interviewed the place and date specified. Equivalence of bachelor's degrees obtained abroad by Higher Education Council (HEC) must be approved. Candidates ALES documents by the deadline specified in the notice, graduate diplomas, their success in graduate level courses in reading notes, certified documents indicating graduation grade point averages, director of the institute shall apply together with other information on the record. Applicants are organized and carried out operations directorate of the institute.
| Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | Another department of the same institute at the university or other institution of higher education institution, depending on the equivalent of successful students who have completed at least one semester graduate program, graduate programs may be accepted by transfer. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | The programme consists of a minimum of eight courses delivered within the graduate programme of the department and in related fields, one seminar course, and thesis, with a minimum of 24 local credits. | Profile of The Programme | The programme has seven brances; construction, hydraulics, geotechnics, transportation, materials of construction, mechanics and construction management. Under the supervision of their supervisor, the students enroll the compulsory and elective courses of relevant discipline, finalise and defend their thesis.

| Access to Further Studies | There is a PhD program. | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | Students are required to take a mid-term examination and/or complete other assigned projects/homework during the semester and, additionally, are required to take a final examination and/or complete a final project for course evaluation. The final grade is based on the mid-term examination grade, the final examination grade and/or evaluation of final project, with the contributions of 40% and 60%, respectively. To pass any course, a Master's student must receive at least 70 out of 100. Students must repeat courses they have failed or may substitute courses the Department accepts as equivalent. The assessment for each course is described in detail in “Individual Course Description”.
