Specific Admission Requirements |
1-Bachelor's Degree from Architecture Departments
2- Undergraduate graduation average of at least 2.50 out of 4.00
3- At least 70 points from the relevant field of the Graduate Entrance Exam (ALES) held in Turkey
4-To get at least 75 points from the Institute of Postgraduate Education entrance exam. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Successful students who have completed at least one semester in another department of the same institute at the university or in a graduate program affiliated with an equivalent institute of another higher education institution can be admitted to graduate programs through horizontal transfer. |

1- Having taken at least 24 national credit courses (at least 8 courses) from the graduate courses of the program or other related programs and successfully completing all of them and obtaining a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00

Profile of The Programme |
The master's programme with thesis in the Department of Architecture aims to train specialists/academicians who can work effectively in theoretical and practical issues related to architecture (design, restoration, building materials, architectural history, etc.), integrate and establish interdisciplinary relations. Another aim of the program is to train experts or academicians who can interpret the knowledge about current issues and use them in solving the problems of architectural fields. To train experts or academicians who have the ability to comprehend and interpret the experiences of different countries on architecture in their spatial, social, cultural and economic context, apply current and technological knowledge in business life and adapt to new technologies. |
