They are accepted among the candidates who meet the application conditions of master's degree at the begining of the Fall and Spring Semester. The decisions of Institute Board for the year, ALES, language and Undergraduate GPA are effective.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To have master degree with thesis in Department of Field Crops, students must study at least 2 semester course and thesis. To begin a thesis period, the student must have at least 24 credits of course, and be succesfull.
Profile of The Programme
The goals of the department: are to graduates of master's degree who are able demonstrate the ability of describing, solving, applying and making decision of the problems faced in field crops, have adequate knowledge about cultivation, follow the agricultural innovations and self developed.

The garduates can find employment opportunities in both the public and the private sector. they can vork in differet agricultural areas such as Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Agricultural Research Institutes, other official institutions, agricultural cooperatives, processing plant for sugarbeet, tobacco, forages etc. and seed companies
Access to Further Studies
Master degree owners with 70 National Academic and Graduate Entry Examination (ALES) and, adequate language score may apply to PhD Program.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Each course is assessed via a midterm exam and a final exam, with contributions of 40% and %60, respectively. To be succesfull in a course, students must take one of AA,BA,BB,CB and CC grades. Besides,students who pass seminary, special field course and thesis studies can graduat
Graduation Requirements
Students who taken at least 120 ECTS and passed from seminar course and thesis studies can graduate.
