History
Graduate School of Graduate Education Sciences, Department of Coaching Education Master's program was established on 12.01.2022.
Qualification Awarded
Those who successfully complete the Master's program of the Coaching Education Department are given the title of "Master" (MSc) in the field of Coaching Education.

Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates who will apply to the master's program must have a bachelor's degree in Coaching Education or a bachelor's degree from one of the Sports Science departments and have completed the scientific preparation program. They must have at least fifty-five points in the ALES score type of the program they are applying for, and have a minimum score of 2.00 or equivalent point out of four from their undergraduate graduation grade point average from the ALES, which is done centrally by OSYM. In the evaluation of student admission to master's programs with thesis; In the calculation of the entrance exam success grade; 50% of the ALES score, 20% of the undergraduate graduation grade and 30% of the written scientific evaluation and/or interview exam are taken. Candidates who score less than fifty points in the written scientific evaluation and/or interview exam are considered unsuccessful. Provided that the total score to be calculated in this way is at least fifty out of a hundred, the candidates are accepted to studentship within the quota by ranking them from the highest score down. Candidates who do not take the written scientific evaluation and/or interview exam will not be evaluated.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order to apply for a Master's degree in Coaching Education, it is necessary to have a bachelor's degree. In order to obtain a master's degree, students must successfully complete all of the common and compulsory courses and elective courses in the program.
Profile of The Programme
In the Coaching Education master's program, a curriculum developed for sports scientists, physical education teachers, trainers and experts from different disciplines to receive training is carried out. The program includes compulsory courses related to postgraduate and general culture. In addition to the compulsory courses, the elective courses, which are offered to the students according to their own preferences, have added a versatile feature to the program. Thus, it includes research models that can be applied to performance athletes of different age groups as well as to the masses who do sports for health. In this context, application models in the concept of movement and training sciences such as training information, physiology, biomechanics are presented on the basis of scientific research in line with contemporary approaches.

Graduates of this program perform their profession in the public and private sectors.
Access to Further Studies
Students who successfully complete their master´s education in this program can study in their own fields or PhD programs in the related fields, provided that they get valid grades from ALES exam and document that they have sufficient knowledge of English.

Exam of the courses; It can be done in written, written-oral or practical form.
Graduation Requirements
Master´s program with thesis; It consists of at least eight courses, not less than 120 ECTS credits, a seminar course at the course stage, the Master´s Specialization Course to be taken each semester, the Thesis Advisory Course and the thesis study

There are a total of four faculty members including 1 Prof. Dr., 2 Assoc. Dr., 2 Asst. Assoc., and 1 Research Assistant.
