Specific Admission Requirements
1. Must have a nursing undergraduate degree deemed appropriate by the Department of Nursing in terms of the field of education. 2. They must have received at least 60 points from the ALES score type required for the program they are applying for and their undergraduate graduation grade point average must be at least 2.50 out of four or an equivalent score, 3. Candidates who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and have a bachelor's degree from higher education institutions in foreign countries must have an equivalence certificate from YÖK.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
In the recognition of prior learning, the provisions of the undergraduate-associate degree education and training regulations regarding student admission through horizontal transfer are taken into account
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The program consists of elective and compulsory courses, as well as a thesis, totaling 120 ECTS credits, with the condition that it must not be less. The evaluation of students' course and thesis performance is conducted in accordance with the Graduate Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations.
Profile of The Programme
The Master's program in Pediatric Health and Diseases Nursing was established within the Nursing Department in 2021. The program commences with two semesters of theoretical and practical courses, followed by two semesters dedicated to thesis work, making a total of four semesters. Before initiating the thesis work, completion of at least 60 ECTS credits is required. To obtain a Master's degree in Pediatric Health and Diseases Nursing, a total of 120 ECTS credits must be completed. Upon successful completion of the Master's thesis, students graduate from the program as specialized nurses. The language of instruction for the program is Turkish. When determining the quota, consideration is given to the number of thesis advisories per faculty member, as specified in the Principles for Opening and Conducting Graduate Education Programs.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates of the master's program can work as specialized nurses, nurse managers, and nurse educators in hospitals. Additionally, they can pursue careers as academics in nursing departments at universities.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates are eligible to apply for the Doctoral program.

Examinations and course grades are governed by the relevant articles of the YOBÜ Graduate Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations
