| Our department was established in 1987.
The Machinery Drawing and Construction Program was opened under the Machinery and Metal Technologies Department.
In our department, education and research activities are provided by four Instructors.
Our department aims to train the qualified manpower needed by the machinery industry. |

| Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all the requirements receive the "Associate Degree Diploma in Mechanical Drawing and Construction". This diploma degree awarded corresponds to the 5th level education level within the scope of the European Qualifications framework. |

| Specific Admission Requirements |
| Admission and registration requirements for this program are made within the scope of Turkish Higher Education Legislation. Graduates of vocational high schools are admitted to the program without examination, within the program quota. Standard high school graduates are placed in vacancies according to the results of the Higher Education Entrance Examination. Placement is done by ÖSYM. The registration requirements are the same as the Higher Education Entry System. |
| Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
| Recognition of previous formal (formal) learning in Turkish Higher Education Institutions, vertical, horizontal and intra-university contradictions. TRANSFER BETWEEN ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. It is carried out within the scope of "REGULATION". In Turkey, the recognition process of non-formal certificate-based or experience-based (in-formal and non-formal) learning outside of formal education institutions is still in its infancy. Therefore, the recognition of prior learning has not been fully initiated in all programs of Bozok University. However, an exemption exam is held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer and English and German included in the education plans of the programs. Students who think that they meet the expected qualifications from these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who pass the exam and pass the exam are exempted from the relevant courses in the curriculum. |
| Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
| Students who successfully complete all courses (total 120 ECTS) of two-year (four semesters) education and training programs and 20 working days of compulsory vocational internship receive an associate degree. |
| Profile of The Programme |
| The main purpose of this department is to train experts in the production stages of the industrial sector by forming the educational, psychological and communicative skills of the students. The program has an education structure consisting of 4 semesters within a 2-year education period. The knowledge, skills and behavior acquired during the education period form the basic skills to be able to work at production levels. It meets the need for intermediate staff with sufficient knowledge and work skills in the design and production of machine elements, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, CNC benches and Cad-Cam programs that the industrial sector needs in production stages. Students complete a 30-day professional internship at the end of the program. Thus, theory and practice are provided. |
| Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
| Graduates are trained in the relevant departments of factories operating in the public sector and industry to meet the need for intermediate staff (technician) between engineers and technicians. According to the structure of the institution they work, they can design and project all kinds of mechanical systems and machine benches. Technicians can also open their own private workplaces if they wish. |
| Access to Further Studies |
| 1-Department graduates can continue to some programs of open education without examination. Those who are successful in the applied integration program continue from the 3rd year. They have a bachelor's degree from a field other than their field (business, economics, etc.). 2- They can continue their education in their fields by taking the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) after graduation and determined in their fields. |
| Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
| In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and take the final exam, they must attend at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the practices. For each course, students are subjected to midterm studies (midterm exam, quiz, homework, project, practice or similar studies) and final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In the semester courses, a midterm and a final exam are given. The success grade of the student is determined by adding 40% of the midterm and 60% of the final exam. |
| Graduation Requirements |
| Students who successfully complete all 120 ECTS courses available in the program and achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, an internship is a must for graduation. |

| Facilities |
| In order to meet the basic workshop and laboratory needs, the technical drawing room and machine tools laboratory are available to students. On the other hand, there are two computer labs with technological infrastructure, which are used jointly with other programs, where students can make computer-based applications (professional package programs such as Autocad, internet services, etc.). Program; building, classroom, etc. sufficient in terms of usage areas. |
